Photos: NAFDAC Seizes ₦41.2m Worth of Fake Wines in Nasarawa Raids

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has seized counterfeit and adulterated wines valued at over ₦41.2 million in a major operation targeting wine shops in Mararaba Market, New Nyanya, and Masaka areas of Nasarawa State.

In a post on its verified X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, NAFDAC revealed that its Investigation & Enforcement team conducted the raids to crack down on the distribution of fake wines and spirits.

The agency said it is actively investigating the importers and manufacturers behind the counterfeit products and has called on consumers to remain vigilant. NAFDAC also urged the public to report any suspicious products to the nearest NAFDAC office for swift action.
